Do Something Organization Trust is a dedicated volunteer-driven entity serving the community of Rasipalayam and its environs for over years and registered at 2021. We are passionately engaged in a diverse range of social service activities, including tree plantation drives, conservation of natural resources, rural cleanliness campaigns, educational support for school students, and providing free training for government exams. With a growing membership of around 250+ individuals, we are proud to have garnered strong support from the local community. A campaign was conducted in Rasipalayam to raise public awareness during elections, encouraging people not to accept money or bribes in exchange for their votes.
A reunion - Marukoodal (மறுகூடல்) event at Rasipalayam Government High School was held where former teachers and alumni met, honored those who donated land to the school, and recognized former teachers.
An awareness event on air pollution and respiratory diseases was held in Rasipalayam and Thennampalayam, in collaboration with KPR Educational Institution and KPR Group, featuring seminars and exhibitions.
Every year on August 15th, Rasipalayam Government High School awards prizes, certificates, sweets, saplings to students excelling in exams, sports, essay writing, drawing, and speech competitions.
During the coronavirus lockdown, breakfast was prepared daily for 400 people in Rasipalayam and delivered for 45 days, with special attention to providing breakfast to the elderly at their homes.
With help from KPR Educational Institution, Vanam India Foundation, our panchayat, our Trust, and Water Resources Department, 700 saplings of 18 varieties were planted behind Rasipalayam High School.
Kovai Aravind Eye Hospital, in collaboration with the Do Something Organization Trust, jointly organized a free eye checkup camp at a government school located in Rasipalayam.
